Kyle Cox, Boren Awards Representative, to visit campus THIS THURSDAY, November 7, from 4-5pm

We’re excited to announce that Kyle Cox, a representative from the Boren Awards, will be visiting campus THIS THURSDAY, November 7th 4-5pm in Eggers 018 to promote the program. The Boren Awards provides funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to study in Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East, to focus on acquisition of critical need languages.

Preference is given to students applying for programs that last more than 6 months, although STEM students are eligible to apply for abroad programs as short as 8 weeks. In exchange for funding, recipients are required to work for the federal government for one year following graduation.
