CFSA Director Participates in Panel at Student Veterans of America National Convention

CFSA’s Director, Jolynn Parker, participated in a panel presentation titled “New Recruits: Encouraging Student Veterans to Apply for Nationally Competitive Scholarships” at the annual Student Veterans of American National Convention on Sunday, January 5, 2020. She presented alongside Ron Novack, Executive Director at the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs (OVMA), and Katherine Quartaro, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, an Executive Master of Public Administration student at Syracuse University, and SU’s 2019 Tillman Scholar. The Student Veterans of American National Convention is the largest convention for student veterans in the country, according to the website for the Student Veterans of America–the organization that hosts the conference: https://conference.studentveterans.org/. CFSA is proud to partner with OVMA to support student veterans as they identify and pursue nationally competitive fellowships and scholarships, like the Tillman and many more!
