Boren Awards Workshops with Program Officer Craig Frederickson

The Center for Fellowship & Scholarship Advising (CFSA) is excited to welcome Craig Frederickson, a Boren Program Officer with the Institute of International Education (IIE), who will give a workshop for students on creating competitive applications for Boren Scholarships & Fellowships.

Boren offers generous funding for the study of critical need languages in countries of interest to US national security; applicants should be interested in issues of national security (broadly defined) and in a potential career with the US government. Boren is open to both undergraduate and graduate students (U.S. citizens only) and there are special initiatives for STEM students. Professor Francine D’Amico is the faculty representative for undergraduate Boren Scholarships and Professor Susan Wadley is the Boren faculty representative for graduate Boren Fellowships.  http://www.borenawards.org/
