The SMART Scholarship, which is funded by the Department of Defense, provides FULL TUITION and living stipends of $25,000 for undergraduates and other supports including internships for undergraduates and graduate students who want to pursue research. Steve Farr, an SU alum who works at Rome Labs (which is the US Air Force’s “Super Lab”) and has served as a selector for the SMART Scholarship, will visit SU to share more information about the SMART Scholarship and other scholarship funding opportunities offered by the Department of Defense.
