In the News: Udall Scholarship Awarded

A Syracuse University student has been selected for the prestigious Udall Scholarship and a second has been named a Udall Honorable Mention.

Jade Rhoads was named a Udall Scholar in the field of tribal policy. Rhoads is a junior majoring in Russian language, literature and culture in the College of Arts and Sciences and geography in the College of Arts and Sciences and Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, with a minor in global security studies.

Katie Duggan

 

Katie Duggan was named a Udall Honorable Mention. Duggan, a junior environmental engineering major in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, also earned a Udall Honorable Mention in 2016. She intends to pursue a master’s degree in environmental engineering, focusing on watershed and stormwater management. Duggan is active in the SU Excelerators and conducts research on green roofs mentored by Professor Cliff Davidson.
